Pacific Coastal Airlines operates daily flights out of Vancouver (from YVR South Terminal) - twice daily in the summer using pressurized turbo-prop Beechcraft 1900s.

FERRY
B.C. Ferries operates the Discovery Coast Route (route #40) from Port Hardy on Vancouver Island to Bella Coola, with stops along the way. The ferry operates mid-June to mid September using a 100 car vessel (Queen of Chilliwack).

ROAD
chilcotin_hwythe_hillHighway 20 runs to Bella Coola from Williams Lake (5 hours) crossing the Chilcotin Plateau before descending into the coastal Bella Coola Valley via the famous "Freedom Road Hill". The road is paved except the 60 km section between Anahim Lake and the bottom of the hill which is very good gravel road. All supplies come into the valley via the Highway 20 all year round.
